The history of piano in the art of Kazakhstan dates back to the 40’s of the last century. In connection with the opening of the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory in 1944, there was a need for teacher training. The invitation of the director of the conservatory A.Jubanov was accepted by pupils of Russian and Soviet-era pianists’ schools, such as K.N Igumnov, A.B Goldenweizer, G.G Neagauz, A.N Esipova. In the 1950’s, young teachers who graduated from music universities in the republics and cities of the former Soviet Union arrived to the Almaty State Conservatory. E.A. The first graduates opened in 1964 and began teaching at the Republican Music School named after Ahmet Jubanov.
