The authenticity of the legend of Kazakh culture Akhmet Zhubanov arouses the constant
interest of researchers, performers and composers. The impact of A. Zhubanov’s legacy on
different aspects of musical culture will be the central theme of the conference. Managers, teachers,
students of music specialized educational institutions, art schools of Kazakhstan, CIS countries
and far abroad are invited to participate (online and offline).
The content of the reports may include research on musical art, pedagogy and teaching
methods, musicological works on the work of composers or artists of different eras, the
relationship with other types of pedagogical activity and orientation, scientific, methodological
and performing analysis of the works of composers, psychological and pedagogical research,
issues of artistic, aesthetic and educational orientation.
Both teachers and students of creative educational institutions, as well as high school
students of specialized music schools and Art Schools can participate in the conference.
Within the framework of the scientific and practical pedagogical conference, the following
areas are proposed for discussion:
Section No. 1. «The work of A. Zhubanov and his legacy in our days»
- The connection of traditions and innovation, through the prism of A. Zhubanov’s legacy.
- Coverage of the work of contemporary composers of Kazakhstan.
- Similarity and difference of national (author’s) works of the Turkic peoples (practical
demonstration).
Section No. 2. «Topical issues of national musical art and education». - The development of music pedagogy.
- Composing and performing traditions in modern musical culture.
- Musical art, its interaction and interrelation with other types arts and general education
disciplines. - The latest technologies and the possibility of their use in broadcasting and
interpreting music (education) of past eras and modernity.
Within the framework of the research conference, the following areas are proposed for discussion
for students:
Section No. 3. - The creative heritage of composers and figures of musical art of world culture and
Kazakhstan. Special attention should be paid to the anniversaries of composers, musical creative
groups, outstanding teachers, and figures in the field of arts. - Research work (analysis of the work, style, direction).
Technical requirements:
Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, English.
Forms of participation: full-time and part-time (online).
The design of literature and footnotes must meet the requirements of scientific publications.
Participants send an article online, in compliance with the requirements, those who wish
make a video recording of the speech (5-10 minutes time limit) by sending a link to YouTube
(for demonstration at the conference).
An application for participation must be submitted to the Organizing Committee by February 29,
2024, Appendix No. 1. The text of the report is attached to the application (see the requirements
for registration in Appendix No. 2). An electronic collection is planned to be published after the
conference.
The registration fee is 5000 tenge. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject
applications that do not correspond to the topic of the conference, the norms of scientific or
creative ethics, or the requirements for the design of reports. Certificates are issued to all
participants whose reports are accepted into the collection (you can also download them on
the official website of the Russian Academy of Sciences named after A. Zhubanov).
Travel and accommodation are paid by the sending party.

Purpose of payment: participation in an international conference and indication of the
participant’s first and last name. Receipt (copy) of the entrance fee payment a copy of the receipt
must be sent by e-mail to the organizing committee of the conference along with the application,
otherwise participation in the conference will be CANCELED!!! In case of refusal to participate

Requirements for the report
Below the center of the page is the title of the report (in bold, without hyphenation, in full)
The text of the report.
The volume of the report, including the list of references, is from 5 to 10 pages, no more.
Format: computer set in Microsoft Word format, font – Times New Roman, 12 the size is in the
main text, 10 in the notes. The line spacing is single, all margins are 2 cm, width alignment.
Musical examples, diagrams and drawings should be inserted into the main text, as well as
attached as separate files in any graphic formats. The article is completed by an automatically
numbered bibliographic list (heading “List of references”). References to the used literature is
arranged in the order of citation, indicating in square brackets the ordinal number of the source in
the bibliographic list, the page number separated by commas (for example, [5, 24]).
The authors of the articles are fully responsible for the accuracy and reliability of
information, citations, references and references.
The deadline for submitting articles is till February 29, 2024.
Requirements for the performance of students and students
Students and students can provide a Power Point presentation on a selected topic – no
more than 15 slides. Demonstration of musical examples and fragments is welcome. The time
limit of the speech is 10 minutes.
