Since the establishment of the Republican Kazakh Music Boarding School for Talented Children named after A. Jubanov in 1964, the cello and bass department has opened its doors for young musicians. The head of the legendary collective was the head of the department, SM Zhakeev, AA Vintergoller, Yu.Gusev, EN Lutsenko, L.Sh. Haziahmetova. In 1968, the harp class was included in the curriculum for the first time, and the Ivanov MN Symphony Orchestra Artist was invited to the teaching. Graduates such as E. Myntaev, M. Kerimbayev, L. Abdullina became the sympathy of the connoisseurs of the arts and their name was recognized in the country. A. Kulzhanova, R. Kulametov, S. Dairov, M. Buyenbayev, G. Buyenbayeva, A. Amireeva N. Beknazarov started the work which was completed by the great teachers. Graduates of the department are also entrusted with professional education and high culture and exceptional organizational skills. For example, K. Botabaev – director of the Kazangap Music College in Kyzylorda, M. Zakirov is the chief administrator of the Abai Opera and Ballet Theater, and O.
